Franco Cesarini
Franco Cesarini (né le 18 Avril 1961 à Bellinzone, Suisse) est un compositeur, chef d'orchestre et musicien suisse.
Il a d'abord commencé des études de musique au conservatoire de Milan, en Italie, au piano et à la flûte. Il a poursuivit ensuite au conservatoire de Bâle, en Suisse. Parmi ses professeurs figuraient Robert Suter, Jacques Wildberger, Peter-Lukas Graf et Felix Hauswirth.
Il a ensuite été chef d'ochestre à l'école de musique de Zürich dès 1989 puis au Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana à Lugano depuis 2001.
Il est actuellement chef d'orchestre du Civica filarmonica di Lugano. Dans ses compositions, il se consacre essentiellement pour les orchestres à vent, mais compose également pour des orchestres symphoniques ou à cordes.
